The name "Eleven" originates from our salon’s location at 11a The Street in Shorne, we wanted to create a brand that felt personal yet distinct from Joanna's, reflecting our commitment to growth and individuality while staying true to our roots. We are an in-house training academy, redefining the standard of hair extension education.​

Whether you’re seeking a career change or looking to expand your skill set, our three tailor-made courses offer comprehensive training that blends in-depth theory with hands-on practice.

 

From mastering application techniques to understanding the science behind extensions, we equip you with everything you need to thrive in the industry.​

Stick Tip, Ultra Tip & Nano Ring

Stick Tips (also known as Mini Tips) are small, reusable hair extension strands attached to your natural hair using tiny copper tubes. Nano Rings are applied in a similar way, but with much smaller attachments called nano beads. The tip of each extension has a super-slim metal or thread tip, making them extra discreet and ideal for fine hair. Ultra Tips are a newer, flatter version of traditional stick tips designed to lie flat against the head, reducing bulk and improving movement, fitted using the same type of copper tubes as Stick Tips.

  • Can be reused several times with maintenance.

  • Perfect for adding volume and length while keeping things discreet.

  • No heat, glue, or damage to natural hair.

 

Stick Tips and Ultra Tips are best for: Most hair types, especially medium to thick hair.

Nano Rings are best for: Fine or thin hair, or anyone wanting the most discreet finish possible.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking your hair extension training course with us. By making a purchase, you are agreeing to the terms outlined below:

Payment and Booking

​

  • Full payment (or payment via Klarna or another approved payment method) is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the course.

  • Once payment has been received, a member of Academy Eleven will contact you to arrange a suitable course date.

 

Course Scheduling

​

  • Course dates are arranged based on current demand and trainer availability.

  • Once a mutually agreed date and time have been confirmed, your booking will be considered final.

 

Group Training

​

  • Depending on popularity at the time of booking, your training session may include up to four learners.

  • All our courses have been specifically designed to ensure that every learner receives equal attention and hands-on support, regardless of class size.

​

What’s Included

​

  • A full training kit will be provided on the day, so there is no need to bring any materials or equipment.

  • All training is carried out on professional dolls heads — you will not need to provide a model.

  • Refreshments are included throughout the day.

  • You will receive a physical training manual to use during your session.

  • After completing the course, you will also receive a digital e-book version of the manual via email for future reference.

 

Welcome Email and Course Details

​

  • Once your training date has been confirmed, you will receive a Welcome Email containing the course agenda and daily schedule, details of your designated education and information about breaks, refreshments and any other useful details for the day.​

 

Certification and Accreditation

​

  • Upon successful completion of your training, you will receive your certificate of achievement printed on luxury quality paper, handed to you on the same day.

  • This allows you to obtain insurance immediately and begin working with clients straight away.

  • Our academy and trainers are fully insured, qualified, and accredited by ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists)— a recognised industry body.

  • This accreditation enables you to gain your own professional insurance and open trade accounts with your chosen suppliers to purchase hair extensions and professional products.

Rescheduling

​

  • If you need to reschedule your training date, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • We will always do our best to accommodate a new date, but this is subject to trainer availability.

  • Course fees remain non-refundable but may be transferred to another date at our discretion.

 

General

​

  • By booking and paying for your course, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

  • We reserve the right to make updates or minor changes to course content or scheduling as necessary. Any significant updates will be communicated in advance via email.
